This course easy to follow course, teaches you the basic principles, on which all international standards for responsible business conduct are based.
This course is an introduction to The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
The OECD Guidelines are principles and standards for responsible business conduct. They are far-reaching recommendations addressed by governments to multinational enterprises operating in or from adhering countries.They are also the basis for government policy on International Corporate Social Responsibility.
All companies, small or large are expected to comply with these guidelines.
The official textbook of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, (often called, the OECD Guidelines) is divided in 11 chapters:
The course will help you get familiar with the chapters, themes and basic principles of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. It will help you to understand, what Responsible Business Conduct is and on which international agreements it is based.
After the course you will be able to:
This course in an overview course, in 12 short lessons you will learn the basic principles and background of each chapter of the OECD Guidelines.
The course starts with a short history lesson. Each following lesson provides a 90 second summary of each chapter or also referred to as “theme” of the original textbook, supplemented with background information about the theme, when relevant.
After each lesson you will be presented a 3 questions quiz, which will help you to practice and remember what you have learned. You have 3 attempts for each quiz question.
After completing the final quiz and your score is above 100 points, you will receive the Business Conduct Certificate:
